Over the weekend someone walked in carrying a guitar. Not really a surprise in itself, as many folk carry instruments around with them, and especially this week, as the Broadstairs Folk Festival Week is under way just a few short miles away. No, what was surprising was that the guitar had been dropped the night before and the owner had brought it in for repair.
Having more or less moved into the new workshop in the Craft Village we could do little about the folk that keep coming in! We could hardly say ‘go away’ now, could we? And we certainly weren’t going to turn it away when they tried to fill our hands with fistfuls of cash! So I am officially declaring the workshop OPEN!
NO, it’s not fully stocked yet, and certainly not fully operationally equipped for the production of Ukuleles, but there are some interesting items for sale for both adults and children, as well as the child in the adult! So, if you are in the area, don’t be afraid to poke your head in and say hello.
I might even get around to posting some opening times in the not too distant future!
